Aiki nage = A throw performed without touching the attacker.

Aiki otoshi = An "Aiki" drop or reverse hip throw.

Irimi nage = Entering throw.

Juji nage (juji garami) = Arm entwining throw.

Kaiten nage = Rotary throw.

Kokyu nage = Breath throw. A category for unnamed throws.

Koshi nage = Hip throw.

Kote gaeshi = Wrist turn-out.

Shiho nage = "Four direction" throw.

Sumi otoshi = "Corner drop." .

Tenchi nage = "Heaven and earth" throw.
