Kata menuchi= One hand holding lapel while other hand strikes.

Katate tori = One hand holding wrist.

Kosa dori = One hand holding opposite wrist (cross body).

Morote tori = Two hands holding wrist.

Kata tori = Shoulder lapel hold.

Ryokata tori = Grabbing both shoulder lapels.

Ryote tori = Two hands holding both wrists.

Mune dori = One hand lapel hold.

Hiji tori = Elbow grab.

Ushiro ryote tori = Wrists grabbed from behind.

Ushiro ryokata tori = Both shoulders grabbed from behind.

Ushiro kubi shime = Rear lapel choke while grabbing one wrist.

Shomen uchi = Overhead strike to the head.

Yokomen uchi = Diagonal strike to the side of the head.

Tsuki = Straight thrust (punch), esp. to the midsection.
